Something from the Nazi era will prove useful to the humanity as the database belonging to the Nazi period is going to be out in the open. It will prove immensely valuable for those who got estranged from their near and dear ones during the holocaust period. The peculiar archives are full of approximately 17.5 million names that have been documented in an alphabetically maintained register.

The Nazi archives are expected to decipher many crunching secrecies that have so far anxiously dodged the global community about the existing realities of the potential holocaust victims. These archives possibly includes the data related to Nazi internments files, records of deceased individuals who perished in the concentration camps and gas chambers, registries related to holocaust camps in which the minutest details of holocaust period have been cataloged.

However, here the question arises that, ‘what took so long to unlock one of the most puzzled archives that can be used to answer many protracted queries?’ Some people hold Germany responsible for jamming the right to use those antique archives up till now because most probably aperture of their Nazi history will somewhat inflict a dent on their reputation worldwide. According to Serge Cwajgenbaum, secretary-general of the European Jewish Congress, ‘files would be more relevant in for writing history’ and expressed anguish over the reality that such an important process has taken so long. . He was also of the opinion that ‘the archives could help historians to establish the truth behind the holocaust and also contest contradictions that tend to deny any such horrifying genocide”.

There’s a new kind of atmosphere prevalent in the Delhi’s MCD elections. Middleclass people have decided to take up their cause themselves only by jumping in the poll fray. Earlier it was the strongmen who used to plunge into tricky game of ‘elections’ in order to gain local foothold but with the increase in number of wards fro 134 to 272, the poll scenario has changed somewhat. People are thronging the local offices of major political parties in order to fill up an application form in order to get party nomination. Various reasons are being given by different people to fight the elections, for instance, some of them want to gain prestige & privilege in the society that comes with the elections. Some individuals are of the opinion that they can better understand the local problems of their areas and solve them adequately better than any other strange councilors who sometimes completely neglect their tribulations. People retired from the professional service provide the raison d’etre of being actively contributing back to the society.

In some of the municipal wards, families are actively associated in organizing awareness or cultural programs in their society. Besides that many NGO’s are also gunning for a party ticket. It has been a herculean task for the major parties in scrutinizing application forms as the addition of new wards in the coming municipal elections have filled people with a look of sanguinity and confidence. Another remarkable aspect of the election is that women aspirants have increased considerably which shows not only their level of political awareness but also a sense of poise in themselves.
